CD's

This Album design has taken inspiration from the vinyl covers that would have come out when the album was first published. This is due to the fact that it is celebrating the 25th anniversary since it had first come out. This means that it took it upon itself to use detail to perhaps allow younger generations to experience the original novelty but in accordance to the fact that it has to accommodate for the CD. Still referring back to modern day technology.
These are examples of CD's which I own.

When looking at these covers, I can see that as 'The Kinks' album covers are in relation to the time in which they are made and is the the fashion of that specific time.
From the 'Bowling for Soup' album cover we can see that they are trying to re create an era through he costume design even though the album itself holds no relevance to the cover.
