When looking at Illustrated covers, they are always extremely inventive and always related back to the album name or the contents that are on it. In relation to my idea I feel that an illustrative piece would work best with the albums ideology. When you think of an album cover and what is on it in relation to the band that you are focusing on. Most of the time, there isn't a true relation between the genre which is focused on compared to the band itself and the cover that it is featuring. Especially when focusing on covers which feature illustration.
For example, the iconic cover for blurs best of album is only really relevant due tot he fact that it features all of the band members on the cover. It doesn't link to any of the songs that feature or fits a theme that the album has established.
Due to the fact that I have discussed the idea of having an illustrated cover. I have been told to take into consideration the consistency of the cover and if it would actually be relevant to the album it self.
